Commentator - Correspondent - Reporter - TV Host
Feb. 15, 1972 - Edgar Snow died at 66 years of age. Despite the presence of two Chinese doctors, personal envoys of Chou en Lai, who came to help the Swiss doctors, the reporter did not survive a cancer for which he received an operation six weeks ago. He died at his home near Geneva. Snow was one of the few people and the only journalist who won over President Mao and other Chinese leaders affections
