Oct. 29, 1952 - Monkeys And Mice Rocketed 40 Miles Into Space: Wright Air development Center, Dayton, Ohio Airmen Marshall V. Ross, and Erich Gienapp, are both given bland treatment by one of the monkeys which was rocketed 200, 000 feet into space, with a pair of mice. Photo shows monkey brought into laboratory and placed in same rocket need in which he made his historic flight. It was through the recorded results of these experiments that conclusion were arrived at regarding man's reaction to possibleero-gravity flight
