Institute of Aviation Medicine at Farnborough, Hants today. It is the most modern in Europe research clinical investigation and training. It consists of a rotating arm about 60 ft. long with cabins at either and capable of reaching 30 g (i.e. 30 times the force of gravity) a speed of 115 mph. An electrical system is capable of picking up minute electrical impulses from the rotating cabins showing the subjects pulse; respiration, blood pressure and cardiac and brain functions.
