Feb. 17, 1958 - Preview of London's first Planetarium: A preview was held this morning of London's first Planetarium - which is installed in a huge Copper domed building constructed alongside the Madame Tussands Waxworks in Beket Street. The instrument itself - which comprises 29, 000 parts - is of German manufacture and costs about70, 000. Londoners will be able to see the courses of the stars on the skyline. Events which normally take weeks and years will be speeded up to take only a few minutes.
