Feb. 02, 1959 - A Telephone Station now also in the North-East of Bavaria. : The new television-sender of Bavaria which was built by the Siemens and Halske AG on behalf of the Bavarian Broadcasting Station has started sending a short time ago. Photo Shows the whole sending installation on the Ochsenkopf in the Fichtelgebirge. Without the areal on the top, the sending tower is 163 meters high constructed in a special way, and in its bottom part it contains sending rooms for television and radio, the post-reception for the radio connection to the studioes. Also there are rooms for the serving people and the Whole power-current installation. All sending rooms have an air-regulator. At the sending tower there are at the top the radio Areal and underneath the television areal
