Dec. 12, 1958 - Tickets out of an automaton: In order to out out the not very popular queuing up in front of the booking office, the German railway company (Bundesbahn) has put up automatons for trial in Duesseldorf which, after inserting money, automatically give out the ticket and the change. If the machine prooves to be good it will be introduced on all larger stations
