Nov. 11, 1959 - Miniature Camera Gives The Answers About Missiles, Could Photograph A Whole Town: A miniature button camera which is only 12 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches long has been developed by the Australian Department of Supply's weapons research establishment. This is the camera that is giving scientists the answers they need about missiles fired at the Woomers rocket range in Australia. It can be fired in the dummy warhead of a missile - and is so strong that it can be used again after being recovered from the fallen weapon. It can take a picture in less than one thousandth of a second. It has a remarkable range - and it is said that fitted with a cine film- the camera could photograph a whole town.
