Feb. 26 Major Nozzle Test.: World's largest nuclear rocket nozzle, developed by Aerojet-General's Sacramento, California, plant for the Phoebus 2 reactor programme at Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, has successfully completed testing. The plastic tubes connected to 320 individual channels in the nozzle jacket are used to verify that each channel carries the correct amount of liquid flowing through the jacket to cool the nozzle during operation
