Nov. 11, 1958 - The New Royal Greenwich Observatory - Herstmonceux Castle - Sussex. Giant telescope which were mounted at Greenwich have been re-erected at Dome Town Herstmonceux Castle, Sussex. The move has been going on for years - and is now complete. The famous castle is used for administrative offices - labs - and library. The telescope are housed in the specially constructed domes built in the castle grounds.
