Feb. 29 The IBM Pcjr can be an educational tool for use in the classroom and home. The system includes cassette Basic built into its Read Only Memory and a simple-to-follow booklet, Hands-On Basic, to introduce users to this programming language. IBM also offers IBM PC Cartridge Basic, which features enhanced graphics, color and sound. With the Basic cartridge, the Pcjr can also run a series of educational diskette programs which help develop math skills, directional concepts and dexterity, as well as teach word association and computer programming
