Feb. 26 Model of the radio antenna to be built by the Army Jet Propulsion Laboratory for use in the expanding exploration of the space by the US Army. The radio receiver will be capable by 1960 of communicating with space vehicles at great distance from the earth. It will be erected at Camp Irwin, Calif, near Barstow. 1 July 1958
