The JEM Electron microscope is the latest type produced, and can be used for the transmission and reflection of specimens. It has high resolution, electron diffraction from the selected area of the specimen, stereo image and dark field. It also has heating attachments for specimen heating, and a cooling attachment, a rotary pump for the vacuum system. It takes a 160/240 volts suppl of 50 cycles and a total power of 4.5.kws. Net weight is 1, 700 kg The electron gun is shock proof
