Apr. 05 Tiny TV camera takes pictures underwater The British firm of Pye Ltd. has produced an underwater television camera claimed to be the smallest and cheapest yet made. A diver can carry the camera, a 12, 38-lb. sphere, in his hand while observers, watching the picture on a screen above water, direct him by underwater loud speaker. All camera adjustments are made from the control unit above water, The camera can also be used without a diver by substituting weights or lamps for its two handles. Picture Shows: Top: The camera with handles and spherical casing removed. Bottom: The camera in its casing, with screen at extreme left and control unit beside it
