Keystone Photo Shows:- View inside the Space Vehicle exhibit at Olympia. This is based on designs developed by Douglas Aircraft Ltd. of Santa Monica, California - and visitors will be able to experience for the first time the environment that the future aeronauts will experience - while travelling through space at 18, 000 miles an hour - 250 miles above the earth. This space vehicle is 62ft. long - and is suspended as it would be - when in flight. The vehicle will be manned by a crew of four - just as it would when in a space flight
