Apr. 17 Spacge-Age Mass: The man who seems to be sorting out an enormous tangle is doing maintenance work on a 1, 450 ft. long, 65ft. wide fixed aerial of the Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory, Cambridge University, England. A pioner since 1948 in radio astronomy, the famous English seat of learing now has a 180-acre site devoted to it. Recordings from sources more than 4, 500 million light years out in space have been made, a penetration not possible in opticaly astronomy
