Dec. 12, 1963 - Nursemaid to the Blue streak'. Trials engineer Mr. Tom Jones is seen near the Blue streak rocket at the Spadeadam rocket establishment in Cumberland, yesterday. Today, the blue streak, which is planned to be Britain first rocket in space, leaves for Woomera, Australia for the launching. Tom Jones will be accompanying the rocket on it's 7, 000 mile trip to Woomera, and will check pressures every four hours
