Dec. 14, 1965 - A Sensational Experiment..was well worked out by a scientist-group of ten men under the management of Prof. Stahlin in the German Elektronesynchroton in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld (in short called: DESY). In several researches did they succeed in incontestably proving the anti-matter in the proton (hydrogen-atomic-nucleus), with the help of light with extreme short waves (GAMMA-beams). That there is existing an anti-matter was already proved by the impact of matter-elements in 1955 in the USA. The particularity and novelty of the Hamburg experiment is that the anti-matter be incontestably proved by the help of beams of light. In order to carry out this experiment it is necessary to have an electronic-synchrotron (accelerator), which at least produce a capacity of 6 milliards electron-volt. At present, beside the Hamburg Synchrotron, there is only one existing with this capacity in the USA. By this invention the chance has been given to the German science, to afford an epoch-making research wok ion the field of th electron-physics. The consequences of theses researches for the applied technics can, however, at present not yet be seen. Photo Shows The steering-room for the synchrotron in the Hamburg DESY
