At the begin of the new year will the Americans start a new weather-satellite TOS and at the same time will this meteorological gun get into action. The antenna then will transmit and receive the records of the weather-satellite TOS'. The satellite will revolve round the earth in a height of 500 km and automatically transmit photos of the cloud layer and the earth's surface in intervals of about four minutes. The satellite TOS is equipped with the so called APT-system (Automatic Picture Transmission)
