Crivello, of the General Electric Researched and Development Center, is the inventor of a new nitration technique that General Electric has licensed to the Aldricch Chemical Company, Milwauke, Wisconsin. Nitrated aromatic compounds are important intermediates for a wide variety of other compounds, including those used in dyes, photographic materials and medications
