May 05, 1972 - Computerized People Movers Wayne Bales programs the computerized people mover system built by the Bendix Corporation for Transpo 72 May 27 June 4 at Dulles International Airport. The system's vehicle are routed to their destinations by the computer which decided the fastest, safest route. Passengers summon a vehicle and direct it to their destination by pressing buttons in much the same way an elevator is operated
