Copy of Michelangelo sculpture of Moses, in Tokyo
Mar. 27 Moses in Tokyo.: Japanese Girls view the statue of Moses being exhibited at the Michelangelo Pavilion in Akasaka, Tokyo to mark the 500th Anniversary of the Famous Italian Sculptor's birth which occurs in 1975. The Italian Sculptor Bobbechi made the replica of the original, which is not allowed to leave Italy, using the same material as Michelangelo. Bobbechi also copied Michelangelo's David and Pieta for the Tokyo exhibition
