Copy of Mount Rushmore in Lego bricks, Jutland
Apr. 17 American Presidents Monument - in Lego Bricks: One could easily mistake this for another picture of the famous monument of four American Presidents cut out of the hillside of Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, USA. In actual fact it is a remarkable copy created by Danish designer Bjoern Richter for the well-known Legoland Amusement Park in Jutland. The artist had first-hand impression of the monument, having travelled to South Dakota last summer to study the original. Every face weighs 200 kg, and more then 1.5 million Lego bricks went into the creation. Photo shows designer Bjoern Richter in front of his Lego brick creation of the famous American President monument which he has made for the Legoland Amusement Park. The presidents are from Left, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln
