At the Royal School of Needlework in Princes Gate, London, the Royal Purple Coronation Robe, which is 18 feet long, lying on an embroidery table, marked out with the side rolled up. The Royal Cypher ER had been completed and the design of olives and wheatsheafs to denote peace and prosperity in the process of being woven into the fabric in gold.
