WE REMEMBER: ANNIE GLENN, 100, (February 17, 1920 - May 19, 2020) a lifelong advocate for those with speech impediments and wife of the late astronaut John Glenn, has died of complications of COVID-19 at a nursing home near family in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 19, 2020. The Glenn's arrived in London from Germany on a nearly 10 hour flight, 5 hours longer than it took Colonel Glenn to fly three times around the earth in 1962. Their plane was unable to land in London due to fog and had to return to Germany and wait before returning to London several hours later. At the airport Glenn said I prefer my capsule trip. At least that wasn't so boring. Glenn is in England as part of a world lecture tour
