Mar. 25, 1981 - March 25th 1981 High and dry for the Oxford Cox Sue Brown Sue Brown, who will cox the Oxford Boat Race Crew against Cambridge on April 4th, becoming the first ever woman to cox a boat in the history of this event. In left almost high and dry as she toasted the success after she had christened Mobil One which is part of a new sponsorship deal for Britain's men's lightweight rowing squad. Mobil Oil have given £7, 500 to pay for the boat and training facilities for the World Championships in Munich in August
