Jun. 06, 1973 - Opening Tournament of the Women's World Cup Cricket Series at Chiswick: Seven women's teams will be competing for the cricket's first World Cup series at Various venues throughout the country during June and July. Today there was one opening tournament between the seven International teams, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, International Invitation X1, young England and England, at the Civil Service Sports ground at Chiswick.
