Crimes - Criminals - Judges - Lawyers - Trials

1962 - The trial before the Nuremberg assize court against the former SS-leader Erich von dem Bach Zelewski, has now already been lasting for 3 weeks. The trial is to clear whether Bach Zelewski gave order to shoot the East-Prussian farmer Anton von Hohberg und Buchwald in connection with the Rohm riot in 1934. Bach Zelewski denies to have given this order. 50 witnesses have been questioned so far. Our picture shows Erich von dem Bach Zelewski (left) with his solicitor Dr. Ernst Wolpert in Nuremberg court.
