Feb. 18, 1954 - Investigating Double Murder At Old Folk's Home. Removing Cover From Car Tracks: C.I.D. personnel were to be seen this morning investigating the murder at the Home for Elderly Gentlefolk - in Montpelier Road, Ealing of a lady who calls herself Lady Menzies and her daughter Mrs. Isobel Veronica Chesney. Their bodies were found in different parts of the house - Lady Menzies in front of the fire in the ground floor sitting room - and Mrs. Chesney (42) was half clothed in a bath on the top floor. Photo shows Removing the tarpaulin cover from the forecourt of the house. The cover was placed there to protect car tracks - which are considered by the police to be an important clue to the murder
