Jun. 28, 1956 - 28-6-56 Three men accused of Scarface murder Three men were accused last night of the murder of Thomas Scarface Smithson, who was shot in London on Monday night. They are Philip Aloysius Ellul, 29, Victor Spampinato, 22 and Joe Zammmit, 26. All were charged at Harrow Road police station, and will appear in court at Willesden this morning. Ellul and Spampinato were the first to be charged. Zammit was charged at 9.15 four hours after he was arrested in Stepney. Photo Shows: Philip Ellul, one of the three accused men
