Jan. 20, 1956 - Terror strikes in a Cyprus Street a British Officer is shot dead by a terrorist: A few minutes after Captain Joseph lane, of the Royal army Ordinance corps has kissed his wife and three-month-old baby goodbye yesterday he as shot five times in the back.
