Jun. 06, 1957 - Barrister of five Disciplinary Charges: Benchers at Lincoln's Inn, sitting as a disciplinary body - met again today to consider the allegations against Mr. Patrick Marrinan, the barrister who faces the tribunal on charges of unprofessional conduct. The charges against Mr. Marrinan include allegations of having associated on terms of personal friendship with Billy Hill - Albert Dimes and others who were to his knowledge persons of bad and disreputable character, and with criminal records, in a manner unbecoming a gentleman and a barrister.This, it is alleged, was for the purpose4 of obtaining professional work. He is also charged with giving legal assistance and avice to William Patrick Blyth and Robert or Albert Rossi without being instructed by a solicitps- and with obstructing the police at the Bridewell in Dublin.
