Aug. 08, 1957 - German shepherd Rex acquitted for lack of evidence: An extraordinary trial took place in Bonn where four shepherds had a rendezvous. The owner of the shepherd Rex had been sentenced to DM 50. Rex was supposed to have bitten a little boy, because he did not appreciate to be petted by the boy.
