Aug. 16, 1957 - 16-8-57 Murdered boy's uncle makes television plea Colin Warren, uncle of seven year old Allan Warren, the boy who was assaulted and murdered on Saturday night, went on BBC television last night and publicly admitted he was Suspect No. 1. Soon after appearing on TV, Colin heard that the police had widened their search and that they were to interview another man who had been found unconscious in a gas filled room at his brothers house in Wanstead. This man had been taken to Wanstead Hospital. Colin made a plea for everybody to believe in his innocence. Keystone Photo Shows: Colin Warren seen when he appeared on BBC Television last night
