Mar. 27 Former Lawyer OF Baader -Meinhof -Terrorist- Group, Klaus Croissant, Set Free From Prison: Klaus Croissant, lawyer from Stuttgart/West Germany and former advocate of the terrorist-group Baade-Meinhof, was set free yesterday (05.12.1979) from Stuttgart-Semmheim prison. Because of support to a criminal union in February this year Croissant became sentenced to 2 1/2 years of imprisonment (the time of detention pending trial was deducted from the sentence). Regular he should be released on January 3rd 1980. but by a Christmas general pardon Croissant was set free now, some weeks earlier.
