Apr. 17 Bankrobbery in Cologne: On Monday, December 27th, three gangsters armed with machine-guns, stormed into a bank in Cologne. With their loot of 300.000 DM and two high-ranking police officers as hostages they took off towards the French boarder at the city of Saarbrucken. After they had let their hostages free in a forest, on the evening of the 27th, a man hunt for the robbers began. At the time, the chase is still on.
