Mar. 27 The Kiss in Car Case High Court Action. During a High court action last February the jury falled to agree in the Kiss in the Car case, in which Mr. Gerald Selby, 30, and his fiancee, Miss Anne Firman, claimed damages against Police Constable Donald MacLennan and ex-P.C. John MacDonald. They alleged false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, assault and conspiracy. The action followed the acquittal of the couple in May 1959, on charges of outraging public decency while in Mr. Selby's car in Ennismore Gardens, Kensington, in April 1959. Today Mr. Selby and his fiancee attended the Law courts for a new hearing. Photo shows Mr. Gerald Selby and his fiancee. Miss Anne Firman pictured on their way to the law Courts this morning
