Feb. 29 Teacher Dies In Classroom Siege: A 26-year-old teacher died of gunshot wounds after an armed man terrorised a school for two hours yesterday. The man had held the teacher and 11 schoolgirls at gunpoint before being cornered by police dogs in the needle work classroom at St. John's Roman Catholic school, Dundee. Shortly after a man had been taken to Dundee's police headquarters, the teacher, Mrs. Nanetts Hanson, died in hospital. The gunman fired eight shots during the classroom siege.
