Apr. 18 Former Lawyer to Baader-Meinhof-Terrorist-Group Klaus croissant set free from Prison: Klaus Croissant, lawyer from Stuttgars/West Germany and former advocate of the terrorist-group Baader-Meinof, was set free yesterday (5.12.79) from Stuttgart-Stammheim prison. Because of support to a criminal union in Februaru this year Croissant became sentenced to 2 1/2 years of imprisonment (the time of detention pending trial was deducted from the sentence). Regularly he should be released on January 3rd, 1980, but by a Christmas general pardon Croissant was set free already now, some weeks earlier.
