The draft of a bill for the abrogation of the capital punishment of the Californian Governor was his last opportunity. But the Californian Senate has rejected the plan by one voice of majority. So there is no chance that the law will be treated this year by the Californian government. Chessman has given up the fight for his life. He awaits the sentence of Governor Brown, who is to decide whether Chessman must die in May or not
