Aug. 08, 1960 - The trial against the US-Pilot Francis G. Power in Moscow: This morning, August 17th at 10 o'clock Moskow time began the trial against the American U-2 Pilot who was shot down on May 1st near Swerdlowsk, Francis G. Powers.
