Jul. 07, 1960 - Prisoner escapes from Holloway; A prisoner escaped in broad daylight yesterday by climbing a wall with a rope ladder - and the prisoner was a woman. Last night police all over the country were searching for 32 year old Mrs. Zoe Progl, who had served only a month of two and a half year sentence for housebreaking. Her escape from Holloway the first in memory from a women's prison was timed a second. She was helped by two men and a women in a car. They carried a ladder from a partly built house near the prison, and put the ladder against the prison wall - and one of the men climbed up with a rope ladder which he slung over the wall. Seconds later, Zoe appeared over the wall. Photo Shows Zoe Progl, the woman prisoner who escaped from Holloway Prison
