Jul. 07, 1962 - Flying Squad Men Recover Stolen Paintings.: Flying Squad men made a 3 a.m raid on a house in New Barn Street, Plastow this morning - and recovered 35 painting valued at 3500, 000. They had been stolen recently from the O'Hana Gallery, Mayfair. Later two men- John David Terry (30) of Lower Clapton and William Bedford (30) of Hoxton appeared at Marlborough StreetCourt - chared with resiving the paintings. Photo shows two of the officers responsible for the raid- seen in London this morning. They are L-R: Det. Sgt. Leonard Buggy who gave evidence at the hearing - and Det. Sgt. Johny Vaughn the men were remanded until Aug, 34d
