Mar. 22, 1961 - 22-3-61 Baronet gets £200 bail on arson charge Sir Henry Shiffner, the 31 year old Baronet who is accused of setting fire to the Anti-Apartheid H.Q. in London was remanded on £200 bail for a week yesterday. Shiffner, whose ancestors were Colonial administrators in Africa admitted going to the offices but said he remained in a van outside and denied any knowledge of an intention to fire the premises. Two others appeared with him in the dock, Peter Dawson (35) who was remanded in custody and 16 year old Francis Elliott who got bail of £40.
