Feb. 02, 1964 -100, 00 Stamps Raid in the Strand: Rare stamps worth up to100, 000 were stolen by a gang who broke into the office of a leading Strand stamp dealer in London last night. The raiders cut open two safes containing hundreds of rare and historic stamp. Some of them unique, including a sheet of 120 New Zealand 1/9d railway stamps issued last year with their value and red colouring omitted, valued at about10, 200.
