Jan. 01, 1965 - Two Policeman wounded and dog killed in Kensington gun drama: Two policeman were wounded and police dog shot dead in a Kensington gun drama last night. It started after a White Mercedes-which was being chased by police cars-crashed into two other vehicles which had collided earlier in Od Brompton Road, What looked like a traffic accident suddenly exploded into a shooting in gangster-film style. A man dashed from the Mercedes into a nearby basement-and police dog Simon II constable Roger Joen Cross and constable Michael Wheeler were wounded. Later 22 year old John Marson-and 21 year old Mrs. Chloe Castle were taken away-with another man.
