Dec. 12, 1965 - Moors Murder charge hearing at Hyde, Cheshire.: The Moors murder charges hearing is being held at Hyde, Cheshire. Ian Brandy, 27, a stock clerk, of Wardle Brook Avenue, Hattersley, Hyde, is charged with murduring 10-year old Lesley Ann Downing, 12-year old John Kilbride, and Edward Evans, a 17-year old apprenties engineer. Myra Hindley, 23, a shorthand typist, of the same address, is charged with murdering Lesley, and Edward Evans, and with receiving, comforting, Hardbouring, asisting and maintaining Bradly, knowing that he had murdered John Kilbride. Photo shows one of the witness, Mrs. Maureen Smith, wife of Dr. Smith, and sister of Myra Hindley
