Feb. 02, 1966 - Three Policemen Shot And Dead In A London Street: In London this afternoon three London Policemen were shot dead. The triple shooting took place in Braybrook street Shepherd's Bush, which faces Wermood Scrubs Prison. The three CID Officers were chasing a car believed to be a Blue Standard Vanguard down Braybrook St when shotgun blasts range out and the three policemen lay dead in the road. The killer ear then took off at high speed down the read. Immediately an all London Alert was raised and every CID Officer in West London was taken from duty to help in the hunt for the killers.
