Oct. 10, 1966 - Death Sentence demanded for Subandrio: Prosecution in the Djakarta treason trial of former Indonesian Foreign Minister, Dr. Subandrio have demanded the death sentence. Subandrio is accused of being involved in last October's abortive Communist coup and economic embezzlement of 500, 000 (180, 00) alleged to have been placed in his private accounts in Tokyo and Beirut.
