Aug. 08, 1966 - 23- year old German Arrested for Travel Agency Swindle.: 200 young tourists, boys and girls are stranded in Mexico and Egypt with no money to pay their return fare and their hotels. All these ill-fated tourists seem to be victims of a tourist agency run by a 23-year-old German Wieland Lemke who advertised trips to Mexico, Egypt and other countries specially organised for young Tourist at very cheap rates. The fares were paid only one way and no money was transferred to pay the Hotels. Lemke who had disappeared after the swindle had become apparent gave himself up to the police yesterday evening. Photo Shows Wieland Lemke pictured at the criminal police headquarters with Inspector Arnal who is investigating the case
