Oct. 10, 1965 - Mother identifies shoes found on moor grave.: A mother on Friday identifies a pair of shoes found with a boy's body buried on the Yorkshire moors. Mrs. Sheila Kilbride told detectives that the belonged to her 12-year old son, John, who vanished nearly two years ago. A police car took Mrs. Kilbride from her home in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lanes, to a mortuary to make the identification. She recognized the snub-toed shoes and other clothing found in a moorland peat, on Thursday. Photo shows Friday's picture of Mrs. Sheila Kilbride
